The academic focus of the cardiological society of India Kerala Chapter and commitment to continuing renewal of knowledge has been recognized by the central CSI. CSI Kerala chapter has commendably won the best state chapter award for 2007. It gives me great satisfaction to congratulate all the members and office bearers for their effort in adding glory to our organization.
I am certain that with the guidance of the senior members and the enthusiasm of one and all we will be able to continue our “hot persuit” in ameliorating the epidemic of heart disease. This can only be realised through continuing the quest for scientific truth and sharing it with fellow beings. Let the motto of CSI Kerala chapter in 2008 be “translating evidence into practice”.
